She has an internationally-acclaimed reputation for not only her unique hotel interiors as co-owner and Design Director of Firmdale Hotels but also as an author, a successful textiles, fragrance and homewares designer and a highly-respected champion of British art and sculpture.

For Firmdale Hotels, co-owned with her husband Tim Kemp, including The Soho, Covent Garden, Charlotte Street, Haymarket, Ham Yard, Number Sixteen, Knightsbridge and Dorset Square hotels in London as well as Crosby Street Hotel and The Whitby Hotel in New York, Kit is continually celebrated for her individual and original approach to the way she transforms and arranges spaces with a carefree and colourful spirit.
