Built from reclaimed pine, the piece is finished in a quiet, muted grey and lightly distressed by hand to create a softened, lived-in character. The panelled doors are painted with a quatrefoil motif in a nod to Renaissance design, paired with aged iron hinges. The interior is left raw, with a back panel lined in cheery blue ticking-stripe cotton.

Whether used as a linen cupboard, a storage piece in the living room, or an armoire in the bedroom, Donatello feels timeworn and settled - less like it has been placed, and more like it has always belonged.
