Our design team led the full renovation of the renowned Puente Romano beachfront resort in Marbella, Spain, which involved the refurbishment of some 200 rooms, 47 owner suites and the restaurants Sea Grill and Del Mar.
The concept was to recreate the luxury look of a superyacht, bringing the beachfront indoors to achieve a distinctive yet relaxed look, true to the Andrew Martin signature style.
Simultaneous decking floor flows from interior to exterior, full length glass folding doors boast the stunning sea views and the wood finishes echo the palm trees outside. The furniture and upholstery display classical French style, punctuated by relaxed colours and kilims which dance with the backdrop of the blue Mediterranean ocean.
Statement wallpapers, rustic touches and industrial inspired furniture with chrome finishes create a distinctive yet easy-living look, allowing guests to relax in a luxurious and beautiful setting.
The suites are spacious and airy accentuated by a clean and crisp decorative style of glass, tall mirrors and chrome, linen upholstery and neutral tones throughout.
Monochrome wall art, quirky wooden sculptures and the odd paisley, kilim or floral motif inject Andrew Martin character into the rooms, making them livable and homely.
